Avoiding Disreputable Rehab Programs

By Newport Coast | December 21, 2007

With all the men’s drug rehab facilities out there, you really need to be careful. Drug and alcohol rehab can be a big investment both in terms of money and time, so it’s important to research a program well before attending.

For a reputable men’s drug rehab program, the cost of rehab is justified - there needs to be a team of counselors, daily activities, meals, transportation, activity pamphlets and books, etc. Having physicians on hand and using advanced medical techniques can get expensive too, but it’s all worth it when you’ve found a good program.

Other programs charge a lot, but don’t provide much. Many of these facilities aren’t even licensed by the state - they exist to make a quick buck and aren’t as concerned about a patient’s long term health.

Signs of a disreputable men’s drug rehab program include a poor better business bureau rating, unlicensed status, and a general poor reputation which can usually be uncovered by a bit of research.

Newport Coast Recovery is a men’s drug rehab program with an excellent reputation, do your research and give them a call for rehab info today.
