Reputable rehab facilities
By Newport Coast | January 30, 2008
There’s no shortage of drug and alcohol rehab facilities, so finding a treatment facility should be easy, right?
Unfortunately, a lot of rehab facilities have popped up recently trying to make a quick buck. These programs often lack the experience and resources necessary to treat addiction as effectively as it needs to be.
Finding a reputable drug and alcohol facility requires you to ask questions and do a little bit of research. The extra time you spend finding the right program will be worth the knowledge that you’re getting the best treatment possible.
Keep in mind that the best drug and alcohol rehab facilities are generally relatively expensive, these programs have the resources to provide the best possible staff and facilities. That’s not to say that reputable rehab facilities can’t be found for lower prices, but in rehab, you usually get what you pay for (as long as you avoid a disreputable facility).
Ask the facility you’re interested in about their staff: how many people are on staff, what are the staff’s qualifications, is there a 24 hour staff? Facilities that don’t have well qualified and experienced staff members won’t provide clients with the level of service they need.
You should also ask the drug and alcohol rehab facility about their schedules: what kind of daily activities do clients go through? What kind of therapy and counseling sessions do clients attend?
Another really important question to ask a drug and alcohol rehab program is whether or not it’s a state licensed rehab facility. Unlicensed facilities won’t give you the level of service required to effectively treat an addiction.
Newport coast recovery is a drug and alcohol rehab facility that’s happy to answer all of the above questions.
